After weeks of an independent and thorough application process, Brown Aspiration obtained its official certification as a Black-Owned Business by the United States Black Chamber of Commerce (USBC) on May 10, 2022. United States Black Chambers' ByBlack certification is the only national certification exclusively for Black-owned businesses and is in partnership with American Express. In addition to the certification, the United States Chamber of Commerce offers an extensive national Black business directory developed by the US Black Chambers to help businesses and consumers identify certified black-owned companies. The ByBlack certification program provides Black entrepreneurs a way to reach new customers and access valuable business resources.
